MG ZS EV Prices Slashed Up To Rs 2.30 Lakh – Best Deal Of This Festive Season
The festive season in India is among the best time frame for an automaker to boost its sales. During this time frame, automakers try to woo customers with new launches, special editions, updated models and exciting offers.
Now, for this festive season, MG Motor India has opted to attract EV buyers with a massive price cut to the MG ZS EV electric SUV. As a result, prices for the MG ZS EV now start at Rs 22.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
Coming to the variants, the MG ZS EV is offered in 3 trim levels. This includes Excite, Exclusive, and Exclusive Pro variants. That being said, the highest price drop of Rs 2.30 lakh was witnessed on the Exclusive variant of the MG ZS EV electric SUV.
That being said, the 'Exclusive Pro' variant received a price cut of Rs 2.00 lakh, and the base 'Excite' trim incurred a price cut of Rs 50,000. This makes, the new MG ZS EV electric SUV a lot more attractive to potential EV buyers.
Speaking about the MG ZS EV electric SUV, the model is among the most well-equipped electric SUVs in the country with features such as a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, and much more.
Other noticeable features in the MG ZS EV electric SUV include a large panoramic sunroof, a 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, heated ORVMs, cruise control, drive modes, and many more.
In terms of safety, the MG ZS EV electric SUV comes equipped with advanced safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Rear Disc Brakes, and a few more.
In terms of powertrain, the new MG ZS EV sports a large 50.3kWh battery pack and a powerful 173.6bhp electric motor with 280Nm of torque. With this powertrain, the MG ZS EV can reach 100km/h in just 8.5 seconds and cover a distance of 461 kilometres.
Thoughts About The MG ZS EV Price Cut
With a starting price of Rs 22.88 lakh, the MG ZS EV electric SUV is just Rs 2.94 lakh more expensive than the top-spec Tata Nexon EV Long Range (LR). As such, we expect plenty of customers to consider the MG ZS EV electric SUV while shortlisting the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
