MG Motor Likely To Showcase 4 New Cars At Auto Expo 2023 – Hector Facelift, City EV & More
MG Motor is among those car manufacturers who will be participating in the upcoming Auto Expo 2023. As such, we expect the below-listed models to be showcased by the Chinese-owned British automaker.
MG Hector Facelift
MG Motor recently revealed the facelifted version of the MG Hector SUV in India. However, MG Motor India is yet to reveal the prices of the updated SUV and we expect the automaker to reveal the prices at the Auto Show 2023. That being said, the facelifted version of the MG Hector SUV comes with a long list of features including Level 2 ADAS and the SUV is expected to be a big attraction for the audience.
MG 6 Sedan
The MG 6 sedan is expected to be present at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023. Also, the model is expected to garn a lot of attention as the sedan is expected to rival the likes of other sedans in the Indian market such as the Skoda Octavia under the condition that the automaker decides to launch the model in India. Diving into details, the MG 6 in the international market is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine with 169bhp of peak power and comes mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
MG 4 EV
Since the MG 4 EV electric hatchback was recently unveiled by MG Motor, we expect this electric hatchback to be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023. Diving into details, the MG 4 EV is a rear-wheel drive electric hatchback that is powered by a single electric motor and comes with two powertrain options. This includes a decent-sized 51kWh battery pack coupled to a 168bhp electric motor, and the next option includes a much larger 64kWh battery pack mated to a more powerful 201bhp electric motor. However, both variants of the electric vehicle offer 250Nm of peak torque.
MG City EV
MG Motor is also expected to showcase the exciting Air City EV concept at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023. Moreover, this model is said to be very close to its production form and it is expected to be positioned as a premium commuter when launched in India. Highlights of the model includes a very compact footprint, 200 to 250 kilometres of range and two large 10.25-inch screens. Apart from that, this compact city car is expected to draw a lot of attention at the Auto Expo 2023.

MG Motor's pavilion at the Auto Expo 2023 is expected to be one of the major attractions of the upcoming event with a couple of international models, one or two upcoming models and concept cars.
