MG Motor India and Ionage Collaborate: A Strong EV Future In India

MG Motor India, a British car brand with a long history, has partnered with IONAGE, a leading e-mobility service provider, to improve destination charging infrastructure for EVs in India.

MG Motor will use IONAGE’s e-mobility platform to give easy access to EV owners of MG Charge points. EV owners can use the IONAGE App to find charging stations, plan their trips, and charge their vehicles at these MG Charge facilities.

Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, MG Motor India, said that this partnership shows their efforts to create a strong EV infrastructure in India and support startups like IONAGE working in the EV charging ecosystem.

MG Charge is an initiative by MG Motor India to encourage destinations like hotels,residential societies, public places,and corporates to adopt green transportation and prepare their properties and communities for the future.

Vimal Kumar, CEO, Ionage, said that they are happy partner with MG and expand their presence at destination properties. He said that the Ionage platform will also serve as smart mobility assistant for EV operators and owners offering seamless, intelligent, and emission free driving and transactional experience.

The partnership will also support MG Motor India's plan to install 1000 EV chargers in 1000 days across the country under its MG Charge program. Together, MG Motor India and IONAGE aim to work towards the faster adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
