MG Comet EV Gamer Edition Launched - For The PUBG Generation
MG Comet EV Gamer Edition launched in India. The MG Comet EV Gamer Edition is offered with all three variant levels of the electric city car and costs an additional Rs 64,999 over the ex-showroom price of the chosen trim level.
The MG Comet EV comes in three variants - Pace, Play and Plush. The Comet EV Pace is priced at Rs 7.98 lakh while the Play variant is offered up at Rs 9.28 lakh. The Comet EV Plush commands a price tag of Rs 9.98 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).

The MG Comet EV Gamer Edition is the result of a collaboration between MG Motor India and renowned Indian gamer Naman Mathur a.k.a. MortaL, which was announced earlier this year in April.
The Gamer Edition of the MG Comet EV enhances the looks of the tiny electric car both on the inside and out. The exterior features a custom paint scheme which is a unique combination of black, blue, purple and white with gaming controller graphics on the rear pillar.
There are quite a host of custom bits on the Comet EV Gamer Edition's exterior which will appeal to the GenZ gamer it is targeted at. These include the purple garnish for the fog lamps at the front and rear.
The special edition model also gets Gamer Edition wheel covers and version-specific body moulding on the lower section (again with the purple highlights). The blue roof sports the word 'COMET' on one side and stripes on the other.

Step inside the Gamer Edition of the Comet EV from MG and you'll find even more custom bits. The steering wheel cover features blue highlights while the seat covers emulate gaming chairs and feature blue and purple contrast elements.
The gaming highlights don't just there. The edges of the dashboard and a section of the door trim around the door handle are finished in the same vibrant purple hue.
The floor mats look like an extended gaming mouse pad with purple (again) highlights.
Mechanically, the MG Comet EV Gamer Edition remains unchanged compared to the regular version of the micro electric city runabout. A 17.3kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 230km on a single charge powers the 41bhp/76Nm electric motor that drives the front wheels.
