Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance Launched in India At Rs 3.3 Crore - 843bhp Monster
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance launched in India at Rs 3.3 Crore (ex-showroom (India). The AMG GT 63 S E Performance is the first-ever plug-in hybrid from the German luxury carmaker's go-faster division in Affalterbach.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is also the most powerful car made by AMG. All customers of the AMG GT 63 S E Performance (who purchase their cars in Q2) will be handed their keys to their new machines by 7-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton.

The AMG GT 63 S E Performance is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine that is aided and abetted by a single electric motor. The AMG GT 63 S E Performance's engine pushes out 843bhp and a tyre-shredding 1,470Nm of peak torque which is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
This F1-derived powertrain pushes the AMG GT 63 S E Performance from 0-100km/h in just 2.9 seconds and the 4-door coupe will hit a top speed of 316km/h.

The 6.1kWh battery pack can be used for 12km of electric-only driving and in this mode, the 4-door coupe can hit a top speed of 130km/h.
In terms of its looks, the AMG GT 63 S E Performance takes a regular AMG GT 4-door and turns up the madness dial up to 11. The front end is even more dramatic with an updated front bumper and a much larger splitter element.

The sides of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance feature 20-inch wheels (optional 21-inch units are also on offer) which along with the car's coupe-like shape ensures everyone's eyes stay glued to it as it blitzes past.
Other changes include a new rear bumper, which like the one at the front, is aggressive as it can get. Also seen are the automatically operated rear spoiler, charging port for the EV battery pack and a sporty exhaust setup.

Step inside the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance and you'll be greeted by a luxurious cabin. There is Alcantara upholstery along with quite a few carbon-fibre inserts that add to the sporty nature of the car.
The AMG GT 63 S E Performance's cabin also sports a dual display setup with screens that both measure 12.3 inches across. While one acts as the display for the instrumentation, the other is a touchscreen unit for the infotainment unit.
