Maruti Suzuki XL6 Prices Hiked – Check Out All Details
India's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has hiked the prices of the XL6 MPV following the implementation of new RDE (Real Driving Emissions) and BS6 Phase 2 emission norms in India.
In terms of price hike, all variants of the Maruti Suzuki's premium MPV now receive a uniform price hike of Rs 15,000. As a result, prices for the Maruti Suzuki XL6 MPV now starts from Rs 11.41 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Coming to the powertrain, the updated Maruti Suzuki XL6 MPV now features an updated powertrain that not only compiles with the latest RDE and BS6 emission norms but it is also compatible with the new E20 fuel as well.
That being said, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 MPV continues to be offered with the same 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine. This engine in the XL6 MPV puts out 99bhp of peak power and 136Nm of peak torque.
Gearbox options on the Maruti Suzuki XL6 MPV include a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In addition to this, Maruti Suzuki is also offering a CNG version of the XL6 MPV in the country.
The CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki also uses the same 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine as the conventional model, and in CNG mode, this engine produces 87bhp of power and 121.5Nm of torque.
In terms of safety features, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 MPV comes equipped with safety systems such as 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program (ESP), ISOFIX child seat anchoring points, rear parking sensors, and more.
Some of the noteworthy features on the Maruti Suzuki XL6 MPV include ventilated seats, automatic climate control, a 360-degree surround-view camera, roof-mounted AC vents, a 7-inch infotainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and more.
Thoughts About Maruti Suzuki XL6 Price Hike
The 2023 Maruti Suzuki XL6 is one of the best-selling MPVs in the country. However, we expect the recent price hike to slightly affect the sales volume of the MPV. That being said, the YoY sales figure for the MPV is likely to witness an improvement compared to the previous year.
