Maruti Suzuki Invicto Vs Toyota Innova Hycross – 5 Exterior Differences
Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV is essentially a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross. However, designers and engineers at Maruti Suzuki have done a decent job in making a few subtle changes to the MPV to make it look more like a Nexa product.
That being said, here are the top 5 exterior design changes incorporated by Maruti Suzuki to make the newly launched Invicto MPV look different compared to the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV.
Front Grille
The first difference you will notice between the Maruti Suzuki Invicto and Toyota Innova Hycross will be the front grille. Though both MPVs have identically shaped front grilles, Maruti Suzuki has added two chrome slats to split the grille with its logo in the middle.
Furthermore, both MPVs also follow different designs for the grille mesh. That being said, Toyota's grille looks a bit subtle, whereas the Maruti Suzuki's grille looks bolder with plenty of chrome.
Front Bumper
Along with the front grille, the design of the front bumper of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV has also been changed. In fact, the front grille of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto looks bolder with its more pronounced faux air dams. These faux air dams also house horizontally mounted LED DRLs.
In comparison, the front bumper of the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV looks a bit more elegant. Moreover, the lower portion of the front bumper also houses the LED fog lamps.
Headlights
The LED headlights on the new Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV not only incorporates Nexa's signature 3-block LEDs but also features a completely redesigned lighting element. In fact, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto's headlight has just two LED reflectors.
In comparison, the Toyota Innova Hycross' LED headlight features three LED reflectors. On top of that, without the 3-block LEDs, the headlight of the Innova Hycross looks a lot less cluttered as well.
Tail Lamps
Though the taillamps of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV and Toyota Innova Hycross look similar, a closer look reveals a few differences. In fact, the taillamp design of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV reflects the design of the headlights by featuring a 3-block design for its stop light.
Rear Bumper
At a glance, it is difficult to find the difference between the rear bumpers of the Toyota Innova Hycross and Maruti Suzuki Invicto. However, there are a noticeable few differences in the bumpers.
Some of the noticeable differences include chrome surrounds on the Toyota Innova Hycross, which lends it a more premium aura and the Toyota MPV also features faux rear skid plates for a more rugged look.

Engineers at Maruti Suzuki have made a decent effort to make the newly launched Invicto MPV look different to the Toyota Innova Hycross. That being said, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto looks a bit bolder from the front. In contrast, the Innova Hycross looks a bit more elegant.
