Maruti Suzuki Invicto Teaser Confirms Panoramic Sunroof – Launch On July 5
Maruti Suzuki once again teased the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV ahead of its launch in India. This new teaser confirms that the upcoming premium MPV from the Indo-Japanese automaker features a large panoramic sunroof.
That being said, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV is expected to be launched on July 5 and this upcoming MPV is basically a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV. Also, like the Innova Hycross, the upcoming Invicto MPV is also manufactured by Toyota at its Bidadi facility.
However, unlike the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be available only with the Strong Hybrid powertrain. This means the starting price of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be significantly higher than the Toyota Innova Hycross.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be the most expensive model sold by the Indo-Japanese automaker in the country. Moreover, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be sold exclusively through the Nexa range of dealerships.
As mentioned, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be a Strong Hybrid model. Its power unit consists of a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated, Atkinson cycle petrol engine and an electric motor.
In combined form, this powertrain produces 184.8bhp and 206Nm of peak torque. Moreover, unlike the Toyota Innova Crysta MPV, power is sent to the front wheels exclusively via an eCVT gearbox unit.
At present, Maruti Suzuki has already opened the bookings for the upcoming Invicto MPV and the booking amount has been capped at Rs 25,000. When launched, we expect the top-spec Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV to be slightly more expensive than the top-spec Innova Hycross.

We expect the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV to expose the brand to a more premium set of customers. This exposure is likely to benefit the Indo-Japanese automaker in the long term by increasing its sales volume in the future.
