Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV Teaser Out – Exterior & Interior Partially Revealed
Maruti Suzuki released a 20-second teaser video of the upcoming Invicto MPV ahead of its launch in India. This new teaser video reveals a few interesting details about the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV.
The 20-second teaser video starts with a closeup passing shot of the ventilated leather seats. On top of that, the teaser video partially reveals the front grille and the LED headlamp set up along with the 'Invicto' badging on the rear.
That being said, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto is essentially a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV. Furthermore, the Indo-Japanese automaker is expected to launch the Invicto MPV on July 5.
At present, Maruti Suzuki has already opened the bookings for the upcoming Invicto MPV and the booking amount has been capped at Rs 25,000. When launched, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be the most expensive Maruti Suzuki model to be sold in India.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be manufactured by Toyota. That being said, the waiting period for the Toyota Innova Hycross is already on the higher side and it is yet to be seen how the Japanese automaker will handle the additional demand.
Furthermore, sources reveal that Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will be exclusively available with the Strong Hybrid engine option. This engine consists of a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated, Atkinson cycle petrol engine and an electric motor.
This strong hybrid powertrain produces a total of 184.8bhp and 206Nm of peak torque. Also, unlike the Toyota Innova Crysta, power is sent to the front wheels. Moreover, the model comes exclusively with an eCVT gearbox unit.
In terms of pricing, we expect Maruti Suzuki to offer the Invicto MPV in just two top-level trims. Furthermore, these variants are expected to be a few thousand rupees more expensive than the respective variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross.

We expect the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will expose the brand to a more premium set of customers. This exposure is likely to benefit the Indo-Japanese automaker by increasing its sales volume.
