Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV To Be Launched Soon – 39,000+ Bookings & Counting
The launch of the much-awaited Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV is likely to take place this month and the Baleno-based sub-4m SUV has already bagged more than 39,000 bookings across the country.
Also, the new Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV will be available in 5 trim levels - Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Out of these trim levels, 'Alpha' is the top-spec trim level, whereas 'Sigma' is the base trim level.

Speaking about the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV, the Indo-Japnese automaker surprised many at the Auto Expo 2023 by unveiling the Fronx SUV alongside the upcoming off-road focused Maruti Suzuki Jimny SUV.
Much like the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Jimny SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV will also be sold through Nexa dealerships across the country and it is expected to be priced just under the Maruti Suzuki Brezza SUV.
In terms of powertrain, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV will be available with two engine options, and this also marks the return of the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged engine (Boosterjet Engine) that powered the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS hatchback.
The base engine option is a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 88.5bhp of peak power and 113Nm of peak torque. Also, this engine can be specified with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
On the other hand, the 1.0-litre Booster engine puts out 98.6bhp of peak power and 147.6Nm of peak torque, and this engine option can be specified with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Some of the noteworthy features in the Maruti Suzuki Fronx include a head-up display, 360-degree surround-view camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, wireless charger, 6-speaker audio system, push-button start/stop system, connected car tech, and fast charging USB ports.
