Maruti Suzuki Fronx Fuel Efficiency Figures Out Now – More Fuel Efficient Than Brezza
Maruti Suzuki Fronx fuel efficiency figures are out now and the upcoming sub-4m SUV turns out to be even more fuel efficient than the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Tata Punch.
According to Maruti Suzuki, the Fronx SUV equipped with the 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine and 5-speed AMT gearbox is the most fuel-efficient configuration with a fuel efficiency figure of 22.89km/l. Whereas, this powertrain with the manual gearbox returns a fuel efficiency figure of 21.79km/l.

On the other hand, the 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine equipped with the manual gearbox returns a fuel efficiency figure of 21.5km/l. The same powertrain with the automatic gearbox returns a fuel efficiency figure of 20.01km/l.
That being said, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is among the most awaited SUVs in the Indian market and the company has already bagged more than 15,500 bookings for the sub-4m SUV ahead of its launch in the country.

Speaking about the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, the upcoming sub-4m SUV is based on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback. However, the Baleno roots are barely visible as designers at Maruti Suzuki have done a commendable job at hiding the hatchback traits.

On the other hand, the 1.0-litre, turbocharged engine puts out 98.6bhp of peak power and 147.6Nm of peak torque. This engine can be specified with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Safety features in the new Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV include 6 airbags, ESP, speed alert, seat belt reminder, ABS with EBD braking system, reverse parking sensors, brake assist, seat-belt tensioner, 360-degree surround-view camera system and a few more.

In terms of features, the Fronx SUV will be equipped with features such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto Connectivity, wireless charger, 6-speaker audio system, push-button start/stop system, height-adjustable driver's seat, rear AC vents, connected car features, footwell illumination, and more.

With the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV, the Indo-Japanese automaker is looking forward to dominating the sub-4m SUV segment in India. That being said, the outstanding fuel efficiency figures are not surprising as the Fronx SUV is based on the Baleno hatchback.
