Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG Launched At Rs 8.41 Lakh – Available In Sigma & Delta Variants
In a bid to further attract customers, Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of the Fronx sub-4m SUV at Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom). This newly launched Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG is available in two variants - Sigma, and Delta.
Out of these two variants on offer, the 'Sigma' is the base variant, whereas the 'Delta' is the higher variant. Moreover, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG 'Delta' variant is priced at Rs 9.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
Commenting on the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said "The FRONX S-CNG, with its new-age appeal and dynamic road presence, is aimed at customers who are not only trailblazers at heart but also environmentally conscious."
Speaking about the Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG, the model is powered by the same 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, K-Series, DualJet, Dual VVT engine as the conventional model. However, Maruti Suzuki has made some changes to run on CNG fuel as well.
In CNG mode, this engine is tuned to produce 76.43bhp at 6,000rpm and 98.5Nm of peak torque at 4,300rpm. This CNG-compatible engine also comes exclusively mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
According to Maruti Suzuki, the newly launched Fronx CNG SUV delivers class-leading fuel efficiency of 28.51km/kg. In comparison, the petrol version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV claims to deliver a fuel efficiency of 21.79km/l.
Some of the noticeable features in the Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG include a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless entry, electrically foldable ORVMs, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, ISOFIX points and more.
At present, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV range starts from Rs 7.46 lakh (ex-showroom). According to Maruti Suzuki, the newly launched Fronx S-CNG SUV can also be owned through the company's subscription program at an all-inclusive subscription fee starting at Rs 23,248.

With the launch of the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG, the Indo-Japanese automaker is not only aiming to attract more customers and improve sales, but it aims to dominate the sub-4m SUV segment.
