Maruti Suzuki Fronx Available In 5 Variants – Check Out All Details

Maruti Suzuki surprised everyone at the Auto Expo 2023 by unveiling the Fronx SUV. That being said, the Fronx SUV will be sold through Nexa dealerships across India.

Also, the new Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV will be available in 5 trim levels - Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Out of these trim levels the 'Sigma' is the base trim level, whereas the 'Alpha' is the top-spec trim level.

It is also worth mentioning that the new Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV is available with two engine options and the debut of the Nexa SUV will also mark the return of the punchy 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged engine (Boosterjet Engine) that powered the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Powertrain

The base engine option is a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine with 88.5 bhp of peak power and 113Nm of peak torque. Also, this engine can be specified with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT unit. On the other hand, the 1.0-litre, turbocharged engine puts out 98.6bhp of peak power and 147.6Nm of peak torque, and this engine option can be specified with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Sigma (1.2 MT)

As mentioned above, the Sigma variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV is the base variant. However, the Indo-Japanese automaker has equipped the model well with features such as Halogen projector headlamps, steel wheels with wheel covers, reverse parking sensors, keyless entry, dual-tone interior, powered windows, tilt adjustable steering, hill-hold assist, ESP, rear defogger, auto climate control and dual airbags.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta (1.2 MT/AT)

Maruti Suzuki is offering the Delta variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV with features such as Chrome garnish on front grille, electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicator, rear parcel tray, 7-inch infotainment unit, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice assistance, USB, Bluetooth, OTA update, 4-speaker audio system, and steering-mounted controls.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta (1.2 MT/AT, 1.0T MT)

In addition to all the features available in the Sigma and Delta variants, the Delta+ variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV gets automatic LED headlamps with LED DRLS and 16-inch alloy wheels. It is also the entry-level variant for the Fronx SUV equipped with the 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Zeta (1.0T MT/AT)

The Zeta variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV comes well loaded with features such as LED light bar on tailgate, rear view camera, chrome trim on door handles, rear washer and wiper, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, wireless charger, 6-speaker audio system, push button start/stop system, height-adjustable driver's seat, connected car features, footwell illumination, rear AC vents, centre armrest, coloured MID display, 6 airbags, and fast charging USB ports.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Alpha (1.0T MT/AT)

The top-spec Alpha variant of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV comes very well equipped with additional features such as 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-tone exterior, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, head-up display, and a very useful 360-degree surround-view camera. Overall, the Alpha variant of the Fronx comes fully loaded with all the tech that you expect from this segment of SUV.

With the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV, the Indo-Japanese automaker is looking forward to dominating the sub-4m SUV segment in India.
