Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Prices Hiked – Check Out All Details
Maruti Suzuki has hiked the prices of the Ciaz sedan up to Rs 11,000 after the implementation of new RDE (Real Driving Emissions) and BS6 Phase 2 emission regulations in India.
Diving into details, the least price hike of Rs 6,500 was benefitted by Delta and Delta automatic variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan, whereas, the highest price hike of Rs 11,000 was reflected on the Zeta and Zeta automatic variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan.
That being said, prices for the Sigma, Alpha, and Alpha automatic variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan has been hiked by Rs 10,500. As a result, prices for the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan now starts from Rs 9.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Coming to the powertrain, the updated Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan is currently the only model in the company's line up to feature the K15B 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine. Moreover, this powertrain has been updated to comply with the latest RDE and BS6 emission norms.
That being said, the 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine in the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan puts out 103bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 138Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. Gearbox options on the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan include a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
In terms of safety features, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan comes equipped with safety systems such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchoring points, rear parking sensors, and more.
