Mahindra XUV300 Facelift In The Works – Long Feature List Including Panoramic Sunroof
The Mahindra XUV300 is a sub-4m SUV based on the SsangYong Tivoli. Moreover, the XUV300 was officially revealed back in December 2018 and it was subsequently launched in February 2019.
During the initial years, the Mahindra XUV300 sales figures were just average. However, the sales figures soon picked up as more and more customers started preferring safety over other aspects.

That being said, Mahindra has not given any substantial update to the Mahindra XUV300 SUV to date. This lack of prominent updates is hampering the sales figures of the model. Moreover, the interior of the Mahindra XUV300 does look pretty dated now compared to some of its nearest rivals.
To address this issue, Mahindra has been working on a facelifted version of the XUV300 SUV for quite some time now. Now, the most recent spy shot of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift test mule has surfaced online and this spied image reveals plenty of details about the upcoming model.

In fact, the latest spied image reveals that the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift will come with a large panoramic sunroof. IF introduced in the production model, the Mahindra XUV300 facelift will be the first sub-4m SUV to sport a panoramic sunroof.
Apart from that, the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift SUV will feature a heavily redesigned front and rear end. We also expect the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift to feature LED headlights as well.

That being said, the powertrain options are likely to remain the same as the outgoing model. The base 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine (TCMPFi) in the outgoing XUV300 is tuned to produce 108.6bhp and 200Nm of torque.
In comparison, the more powerful 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine (TGDi) is tuned to produce 128.7bhp and 230Nm of torque. Also, both models can be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed AMT unit.
Finally, the 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine in the Mahindra XUV300 is known for its torquey nature. This engine in the outgoing model produces 115bhp and 300Nm of torque. Like the petrol powertrain, the diesel engine can also be specified with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed AMT unit.
At present, prices for the Mahindra XUV300 starts from Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and goes all the way up to Rs 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec W8 Optional variant with the diesel powertrain and AMT gearbox.
Thoughts About The Mahindra XUV300 Facelift
The launch of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift is expected to come with plenty of features and a more modern-looking interior. As a result, we expect a significant boost in the sales figures for the updated model.
