Mahindra XUV700 Continues To Be In High Demand – 8,555 Units Sold In September 2023
The Mahindra XUV700 SUV turned out to be the automaker's one of the most successful models. Now, the automaker has announced that 8,555 units of Mahindra XUV700 SUVs were sold in September 2023.
Out of these 8,555 units of XUV700 SUVs, 6,350 units accounted for diesel variants, whereas 2,205 units came with petrol powertrain. With such sales figures, we can say that the Mahindra XUV700 SUV continues to showcase its strong sales momentum despite the recent price hike.
Speaking about the price hike, Mahindra recently hiked the prices for the XUV700 SUV up to Rs 38,880. As a result, prices for the Mahindra XUV700 SUV now start at Rs 14.03 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant.
Coming to the powertrain, the Mahindra XUV700 can be specified with one petrol or two diesel engine options. The petrol unit is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged unit capable of producing 197bhp and 380Nm of torque. This engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
On the other hand, the 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine puts out 182bhp and 450Nm of peak torque. Like the petrol powertrain, this engine can also be specified with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission option.
Finally, there is a slightly detuned version of the same 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. This engine produces slightly lower but still healthy 153bhp and 360Nm of peak torque. However, unlike the other two engine options, this engine comes exclusively mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Mahindra XUV700 is also a very safe SUV with a 5-Star safety rating from Global NCAP. In fact, the model comes equipped with safety features such as 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a lot more.

The demand for the Mahindra XUV700 SUV in the Indian market continues to astonish many and the recent sales figures indicate that the XUV700 will continue to set the sales chart on fire for a lot more months.
