Well, not anymore - As reported by CaToq, the company has reduced the waiting periods for its highly popular model by around four months on some of its most popular variants. Mahindra had some setbacks in production after facing numerous supply chain challenges.

Now, the company has finally begun to speed up the production rate for the Scorpio-N and their other popular SUV models, namely the XUV700 and Thar. Despite the waiting period reduction, it'll still take over a year, depending on the variant.

Mahindra offers Scorpio-N in five variants - Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L. Last month, the Z4 held the record for the longest waiting-period, but now the Z8 has taken its place, with a waiting-period of up to 13 months. The Z4 currently has a waiting-period of approximately 12 months.

The Scorpio-N Z8L petrol manual variant can expect a waiting period of up to eight months, which was previously nine months. The diesel manual variant has a waiting time of almost a year.

Mahindra Scorpio-N was introduced in mid-2022, and due to its huge popularity, waiting periods shot up to a full year within no time. Mahindra also hiked the price of Scorpio-N back in April 2023 by Rs 51,299 across its entire range.
