Indian SUV manufacturer Mahindra has revealed the BE Rall-E electric concept at the ongoing Formula E Hyderabad E-Prix.
Mahindra also revealed the XUV.e9 and BE.05 EVs to the Indian public for the first time at the same event, both of which are expected to enter production this decade.

The Mahindra BE Rall-E electric concept is the newest member of Mahindra's Born Electric range of upcoming SUVs. The BE Rall-E electric concept takes the design of the Born Electric lineup down a more aggressive off-road route.
At the front, the Mahindra BE Rall E Concept features a split headlamp design but unlike the other Born Electric cars revealed to date, the lower headlamp is a round unit.

Other changes in design on the Rall-E concept come in the form of a silver bash plate and some rather chunky wheelarches which play host to some snazzy aero wheels shod with Maxxis all-terrain tyres. Also seen is a roof rack that plays host to the spare wheel behind which sits a spoiler. The rear sports sleek taillights and a chunky rear bumper that plays host to a thick bash plate.
Like every other vehicle from Mahindra's born electric lineup, the BE Rall-E concept is based on the firm's in-house IN-GLO skateboard EV platform. However, details about the exact setup used on the BE Rall-E concept for the battery pack and motor(s) were not revealed by Mahindra.

Mahindra also revealed the XUV.e9 electric SUV for the first time in India at the Hyderabad E-Mobility event held on the sidelines of the Formula E race. This marks the first time the upcoming all-electric SUV has been shown to the world since its debut in the UK last year.
The Mahindra XUV.e9 will be the flagship of the upcoming XUV.e lineup of electric SUVs from the Mumbai-based SUV manufacturer. The electric SUV features LED DRLs that stretch across the width of the vehicle at the front before dropping down sharply to the lower section of the front bumper.
The actual headlamps are founded in a vertically stacked configuration on the front bumper next to the downward section of the DRLs. There is plastic cladding on the front, rear and sides of the SUV along with the copper accents that are also seen on the XUV400.

Mahindra also showcased the BE.05 electric SUV at the event. The BE.05 is 4,370mm long, 1,900mm wide, and 1,635mm tall and features a 2,775mm long wheelbase. The Mahindra BE.05 is expected to make its debut by the end of 2025 and is based on the IN-GLO platform and could feature either a 60 or an 80kWh battery pack when it arrives on our roads.
Thoughts About The Mahindra BE Rall-E Concept & Other EVs Showcased In Hyderabad
Mahindra is using the Formula E race and its supporting event in Hyderabad to show off its upcoming range of electric SUVs. While the concept car looks great, it was the other two EVs showcased at the event that will really attract the people as both are slated to enter production soon.
