Log9 Materials & 3eco Systems Collaborate To Deploy 2,000 Plus EVs – Aimed At e-Commerce Players
Electric vehicle fleet operator 3eco Systems and advanced battery-tech startup Log9 Materials recently announced a strategic partnership to deploy more than 2,000 units of EVs.
Diving into details, these InstaCharged heavy-duty Shakti 8 Cargo (S8Ci) EVs will be deployed across India over the next 18 months. Moreover, these EVs will be initially deployed in cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and then extended to other metro cities.

It is also worth mentioning that these deployed Commercial Electric Vehicles (CEVs) will be catering to e-commerce and hyperlocal logistics players in the country such as Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, and a few others. As such, we can see these EVs more often in the coming months.
That being said, for most intra-city logistics, 3-wheeler cargo vehicles have always been a preferred choice for last-mile logistic requirements due to their relatively compact footprint and load-carrying capacity. On top of that, EVs are now contributing to a larger portion of this segment due to their lower operating cost and carbon footprint.

Speaking about the Shakti 8 Cargo (S8Ci), the vehicle is an L5 CEV that has been primarily designed to serve last-mile logistics uses. As such, the CEV comes with a payload capacity of 580 kg and the model comes with a range of 130 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack.
However, one of the biggest USPs of the InstaCharged heavy-duty Shakti 8 Cargo (S8Ci) EV comes in the form of Log9's RapidX battery pack. This state-of-the-art battery pack enables the cargo EV to be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in less than 35 minutes. This significantly reduces downtime, which is a major boon for users.

Thoughts About The Partnership Between Log9 Materials & 3eco Systems
Speaking about last-mile logistics, the sector is estimated to increase by 900 per cent to USD 9 billion by 2025, out of which a large chunk of the business will be driven by the e-commerce industry. As such, we expect the collaboration between Log9 and 3eco Systems comes in and can prove to be a game-changer for both parties.
