2023 Lexus LC500h Coupe Launched At Rs 2.39 Crore

Japanese luxury car manufacturer Lexus has launched the 2023 LC500h in India. The 2023 Lexus LC500h is priced at Rs 2.39 crore (ex-showroom, India).

So what exactly has Lexus changed in the LC500h coupe for the new 2023 model? Well, the biggest change can be found inside the new luxury coupe from Japan in the form of a large infotainment display.

The 2023 Lexus LC500h coupe features a 12.3-inch infotainment display which is two inches larger than the 10.3 screen that it shipped with before the update.

The new display is also a touchscreen unit and sits on the dash at a slight angle towards the driver. The touchscreen setup also means that the central console no longer features a touchpad which has freed up quite a bit of space there as well.

The new display has also led to a slight change in the dashboard design, though it has meant the rather classy analogue clock is no longer available. The cabin of the LC500h continues to be festooned with leather and looks to be a rather comfortable place to drive around town.

The exterior of the Lexus LC500h also remains almost entirely unchanged except for a new design for the 21-inch alloy wheels. However, this isn't a bad thing at all as the LC500h is one of the best-looking cars in the Lexus lineup.

The LC500h coupe continues to feature the spindle grille flanked on either side by sharp angular headlamps with a checkmark-style LED signature. The long bonnet along with the small glasshouse with the sloping roof and the sharp-looking taillights are some of the design highlights of the Lexus LC500h.

Under that long bonnet sits a hybrid setup which too remains unchanged. The hybrid combination consists of a 3.5-litre V6 engine and two electric motors.

The petrol engine pushes out 295bhp and 356Nm of peak torque while the dual motor setup is good for 177bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. However, the system output is limited to 354bhp and 500Nm which is sent to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

Thoughts About The 2023 Lexus LC500h

The 2023 Lexus 500h brings a rather significant update to the two-door coupe from the Japanese luxury manufacturer which should make life inside the cabin a lot easier for those willing to shell out the bundles of cash for this hybrid coupe.
