Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario Unveiled As A One-Off Road Legal Squadra Corsa Special
Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario revealed. The Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario is a one-off model which the marque claims demonstrates the successful transfer of its motorsport experience to enhance performance and driving pleasure on public roads.
The unveiling of the Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario at the firm's Super Trofeo World Finals day in Vallelunga helped celebrated the 10th anniversary of Lamborghini's motorsport division, Squadra Corse.
The Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario is not the first road-legal car to bear the Squadra Corse moniker. The first Lamborghini to bear the Suadra Corse moniker was the Gallardo Squadra Corse from 2013 when the Italian marque's motorsports division was in its infancy.
However, Lamborghini claims the latest Squadra Corse model has been wholly revised by the motorsport team and showcases their expertise gained from over 50 race victories in the GT3 series and several class wins in the 24 Hours of Daytona.
The bespoke vehicle's striking livery draws inspiration from Lamborghini's SC63 entry into the upcoming hybrid prototype Hypercar and GTP class races that will start racing next year in 2024. The one-off model sports a livery that combines Verde Mantis and Nero Noctis which are complemented by a tricolour strip running along the roof and the 'cofango' front bonnet like that seen on the regular 'STO'.
Adding a distinctive touch to the new Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario is the 'Squadra Corse 10 Anniversario' logos that adorn both doors and the fin above the engine bay. Another standout feature is the full carbon fibre package that includes a Rosso Mars (red) stripe that encompasses the entire bodywork and gives the STO SC 10° Anniversario an even sportier look.
Inside, the vehicle offers a track-focused environment with bucket seats upholstered in black Alcantara with green contrast stitching, and four-point seat belts. An exclusive carbon fibre plaque sits between the seats, adding to the car's exclusivity.
Despite the regular Huracan STO's track-leaning design, Squadra Corsa has further enhanced the driving experience for the new one-off version. The V10 engine now comes with an Akrapovic titanium exhaust, which should make the raucous soundtrack even louder.
The Squadra Corse team has also added carbon fibre flicks at the front to boost downforce while the rear wing now features a three-degree steeper angle to keep the supercar glued to the tarmac. Mechanical grip is improved thanks to new racing-derived shock absorbers. and the exclusive tyres developed by Bridgestone for this one-off model.
Speaking at the unveiling, Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini said, "The Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario is not only a tribute to our racing division Squadra Corse, but a concrete demonstration of how experience gained in motorsport can be effectively transferred to the road product, enhancing performance and driving pleasure. We firmly believe that motorsport is the most technically sophisticated and challenging test bed, and Squadra Corse's know-how is a valuable asset that deserves to be highlighted on unique models and limited road series with a racing vocation."
