New Variant Of Kia Sonet SUV Launched In India – Gets Electric Sunroof, Wireless Phone Connectivity & More
While some manufacturers introduce new models ahead of the festive season in India to capitalise on the sales push during the festive season, Kia India has resorted to launching a new variant of its existing model to attract customers and boost sales.
This newly launched variant is called the Kia Sonet Smartstream G1.2 HTK+. According to Kia, this new variant pushes the "boundaries of luxury and value". Also, this variant is pretty well-equipped for the price and is likely to attract many potential customers in the segment.
That being said, the newly launched Kia Sonet Smartstream G1.2 HTK+ variant is priced at Rs 9.76 lakh (ex-showroom). As such, for this price point, the model is more than well-equipped and stands as a value-for-money proposition.
Speaking about features, some of the standout features of the new Kia Sonet Smartstream G1.2 HTK+ variant include an electric sunroof, a large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fully automatic climate control unit, auto headlamps and more.
In terms of powertrain, the new Kia Sonet Smartstream G1.2 HTK+ variant is powered by the familiar 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This engine puts out 81.8bhp and 115Nm of torque. Furthermore, this engine omes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
