Kia Seltos ADAS: Two New Variants Launched at Rs. 19.39 Lakh

In April of 2021, Kia India revitalized its image in sync with its fresh brand identity, "Movement that Inspires", which is committed to providing customers with impactful experiences supported by trailblazing products and services. Leveraging this evolved brand identity, Kia is exploring methods to surpass new pre-established standards while stimulating consumers to achieve more.

To date, Kia India has introduced five cars in the Indian market - the Seltos, the Carnival, the Sonet, the Carens, and the EV6. From its Anantapur plant, Kia India has achieved more than 10 lakh dispatches, which includes over 7.5 lakh domestic sales and nearly 2.5 lakh exports.

Kia Seltos X-Line (S)

Continuous with its customer-focused approach, Kia India, a significant mass premium automaker in India, has launched two new models: the GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S). These models bridge the gap between the premium HTX+ variant and existing GTX+ and X-Line variants.

They aim to decrease waiting periods and enhance the value proposition for customers. The GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) bring major upgrades such as ADAS Level 2 with 17 autonomous features, R18 Crystal Cut Glossy Black alloy wheels, Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, Sporty All Black Roof lining, among others, with a supplementary cost of at least INR 20,000.

Kia Seltos GTX+ (S)

These models also feature a 6-speaker audio system and a rear camera as an alternative to the Bose audio systems and the Surround View Monitor offered in GTX+ and X-Line variants. The New Seltos went above and beyond, achieving the 50,000 bookings milestone in just over 2 months, with the top-of-the-line variants contributing 77% to the total bookings.

For the Petrol powertrain, the GTX+ (S) comes with a 7-speed DCT and showcasing a price tag of Rs. 19,39,900. The X-Line (S) petrol also has a 7-speed DCT but is priced at Rs. 19,59,900. On the other hand, for the diesel powertrain, the GTX+ (S) has a 6-speed automatic and has a price of Rs. 19,39,900; while the X-Line (S) comes priced at Rs. 19,59,900 with a 6-speed Automatic transmission.

The National Head Sales and Marketing of Kia India, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, commenting on the new introduction, stated, "Providing quick access to their most desired car is the best way to win over customers. Currently, the average waiting period for the new Seltos line-up is about 15-16 weeks, which we aim to reduce to 7-9 weeks with the introduction of these new variants, assuring deliveries before Diwali. These models are created with care for our tech-savvy customers. They offer looks, tech, and ADAS supported safety systems without compromising quick delivery. We always strive to provide maximum value to our new-age customers through the best design and technology.”
