Inside, the facelifted Kia Seltos sports a brand-new connected dual-screen setup for the infotainment and instrumentation. The new Seltos also sports an updated console for the HVAC system and a panoramic sunroof.

The biggest change though will come under the bonnet where the Seltos will sport the same 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine found on the Kia Carens and Hyundai's new Verna sedan and updated Alcazar SUV.

The engine is tuned to produce 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque and will come paired with manual and automatic transmission options. The new Seltos is expected to retain its 1.5-litre N.A. petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engines seen on the current SUV.

The new Seltos is expected to arrive with a host of safety options including 6 airbags, hill assist control, vehicle stability control, and an array of ADAS features which will make the facelifted SUV the first vehicle from the brand to get the new driver aids.

Thoughts About The Kia Seltos Facelift

The facelifted Kia Seltos comes to India over a year after its international debut. And in that time, rivals from Maruti Suzuki and Toyota have encroached on its territory and Kia will have to be aggressive to keep its new rivals at bay while trying to catch up with the Hyundai Creta.
