Kia Seltos Gets Discounts Up To Rs 85,000 In July – Here’s Everything You Need To Know
Kia India is now offering discounts up to Rs 85,000 on the outgoing version of the Kia Seltos SUV. This includes various benefits such as exchange bonuses, insurance benefits, and complimentary accessories.
Looking into details, Kia India is offering an exchange bonus of Rs 60,000 and complimentary accessories worth Rs 25,000 on select variants of the outgoing iteration of the Kia Seltos SUV. On top of this attractive scheme, Kia India is also offering free insurance for the first year.
These lavish discounts and offers have been put up to attract more customers and clear the stock of the Kia Seltos pre-facelift models ahead of the launch of the upcoming facelifted version of the Kia Seltos SUV.
At present, prices for the outgoing version of the Kia Seltos SUV starts from Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). That being said, Kia India is yet to reveal the prices for the upcoming updated Kia Seltos SUV in the country.
However, the South Korean automaker has revealed many details regarding the upcoming Kia Seltos facelift and we expect the company to soon reveal the prices of its updated SUV. Also, we expect the updated model to come with a slightly higher price tag owing to added features.
Speaking about features, the upcoming facelifted version of the Kia Seltos SUV will come equipped with advanced Level-2 ADAS technology. This tech usually includes features such as adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and more.
Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming 2023 Kia Seltos facelifted SUV will come with three engine options - A naturally-aspirated petrol engine, a turbocharged petrol engine, and a turbocharged diesel engine.
The base engine will continue to be the 1.5-litre naturally-spirated petrol engine with 113bhp and 144Nm of torque. Furthermore, this engine can be specified to either a 6-speed iMT gearbox or a CVT unit.
Customers can also specify the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel powertrain in the updated model. This powertrain produces 114bhp and 250Nm of torque. Moreover, gearbox options are likely to include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic unit.
Finally, the facelifted version of the Kia Seltos SUV will also feature the much-awaited 1.5-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. This powertrain is likely to be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
