Kia India Registers Strong YoY & MoM Sales Performance – Sonet Leads The Charge
Kia India managed to register strong sales performance in April 2023 as the company managed to register strong YoY and MoM sales performance in India. In fact, Kia India managed to sell 23,216 units of its cars in the previous month.
That being said, thanks to the strong sales performance in April 2023, the YoY sales figures improved by almost 21.3 per cent. In comparison, Kia India managed to sell just 19,019 units of its cars in April 2022.
On top of that, the MoM sales performance of Kia India also improved by more than 7.2 per cent as the company managed to sell just 21,501 units in March 2023, which is 1,715 units less than what the company had managed to sell in April 2023.
Diving into details, the Kia Sonet SUV lead the sales chart for Kia India by managing to sell 9,744 units in April 2023, which is closely followed by the Kia Seltos SUV at 7,213 units.

Other than that, the sales figures for the Kia Carens MPV remained very consistent as the company yet again managed to sell more than 6,000 units of the MPV. In fact, Kia India managed to sell 6,107 units of the Carens MPV in April 2023.
Finally, the sales figures for the Kia Carnival MPV stood at 152 units in April 2023, which is less than half of what the company had managed in April 2022 (355 units).
Thoughts About Kia India's Sales Performance In April 2023
Kia India witnessed an overall positive sales growth in April 2023 as the company managed to register positive YoY and MoM sales growth in the country. Furthermore, it is also worth mentioning that the strong YoY sales performance reiterates that the South Koran automaker is doing very well in the country.
