Jeep Meridian Prices Hiked Up To Rs 3.14 Lakh – Check Out All Details Here
Jeep India has hiked the prices for the Jeep Meridian SUV ahead of the festive season in the country. According to the US automaker, prices of the Jeep Meridian SUV have been hiked up to Rs 3.14 lakh.
It is also worth mentioning that the latest price hike on the Jeep Meridian SUV differs with variants and the highest price hike was witnessed on the Jeep Meridian Upland edition. This variant witnessed a price hike of Rs 3.14 lakh.
In comparison, the lowest price hike of Rs 42,000 was reflected on the X variant of the Jeep Meridian SUV. The next price hike of Rs 45,000 was witnessed on the entry-level Limited (O) 4x2 variant equipped with manual transmission.
Also, the Limited (O) 4x2 AT variant, and the Limited Plus 4x2 AT variants received a price hike of Rs 47,000, and Rs 48,000, respectively. The top-spec Limited (O) 4x4 AT, and the Limited Plus 4x4 AT variants meanwhile witnessed a uniform price hike of Rs 51,000.
Speaking about the Jeep Meridian, the SUV is the 7-seater version of the Jeep Compass SUV. However, the company has put in a lot of effort to make the Meridian look a lot more premium, and spacious than the Jeep Compass SUV.
Powering the Jeep Meridian SUV is a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, diesel engine with 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. This engine can be specified with either a 9-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. The model can also be specified with an all-wheel-drive setup.
That being said, Jeep India recently introduced the Adventure Assured Program in India, which apparently focuses on improving the ownership experience. For providing this program, Jeep India collaborated with ALD Automotive (An expert in automotive leasing and fleet management).
Under the 'Assured Buyback', ALD Automotive is guaranteeing buyback of up to 55 per cent of the vehicle's ex-showroom cost for 3 year & 4 year term. However, the mileage of the vehicle will be capped at 20,000km per year.
Moreover, the newly introduced program also includes an extended warranty, annual maintenance, roadside assistance, and insurance (1st year). It is also worth mentioning that the EMI package and assured buyback will be offered by Jeep Financial Services.
Thoughts About The Jeep Meridian Price Hike
We expect the latest price hike on the Jeep Meridian SUV to slightly affect the sales figures in the coming months. However, most of the Jeep customers are likely to remain loyal to the brand.
