Isuzu D-Max S-Cab ‘Z’ Variant Launched At Rs 15 Lakh – Loaded With Features
The festive season is a great season for automobile manufacturers in India to improve their sales figures due to the additional sales push achieved during this timeframe. To capitalise on this additional sales push, almost all automotive manufacturers tend to introduce new variants as well.
Isuzu Motors India is no different to these tactics, and the company has now introduced the new top-spec 'Z' variant of the Isuzu D-Max S-Cab pick-up truck in the country. This newly launched Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant is priced at Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
That being said, the newly launched Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant is targeted towards fleet operators and entrepreneurs to suit their wide range of business requirements. Also, being a top-spec model, the Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant comes packed with features.
Thanks to such a feature-packed interior, the newly launched Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant will be more suitable for buyers who prefer driving the model rather than employing a driver.
Speaking features, the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant comes equipped with features such as keyless entry, multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel, height-adjustable headrests, a large 7-inch infotainment unit, 6-speaker audio system, sun shade, reverse parking camera, all power windows with auto up-down power window, and many more.
That being said, some of the standout exterior design elements on the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant include chrome grille, bi-LED projector headlamps with LED DRL, front fog lamps, chrome door handles, roof rails, 6-spoke alloy wheels, and more.
Other than that, the newly launched Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant is made available in 5 colour options. This includes Cosmic Black, Splash White, Galena Grey, Nautilus Blue, and Titanium Silver.
In terms of safety features, the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant comes equipped with safety features such as front airbags, speed-sensing door locks, ISOFIX anchoring points, front and rear crumple zones, cross car front beam, door side intrusion protection, and much more.
It is also worth mentioning that the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant comes with underbody steel protection for the drivetrain and a BOS (Brake Override System). The latter feature cuts power to the engine if the vehicle detects panic braking.
Powering the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant is a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine with 77.7bhp and 176Nm of torque. This engine sends power exclusively to the rear wheels via a 5-speed gearbox.
Thoughts: The newly launched Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z variant is expected to be an attractive proposition for its target audience given its robust powertrain and feature-packed interior. However, we expect a lower price tag to attract even more customers.
