India's 1st Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Delivered - Finished In Bianco Monocerus

India's 1st Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica has been delivered to a customer. The nation's first Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica was finished in the Bianco Monocerus shade.

Lamborghini officially launched the Huracan Tecnica in India last August, a few months after it was first unveiled to the world in April as one of the latest members of the Huracan family.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharad Agarwal, Head of Lamborghini India, said, "Since its debut last year, the Huracán Tecnica has generated a lot of excitement in India. We are delighted that Indian customers appreciate what Tecnica brings to the Huracán family. With such positive responses from media and customers, it motivates us to work even harder and bring all global launches to the Indian market faster."

The Huracan Tecnica is expected to be the last iteration of the Huracan platform in its rear-wheel-drive guise before Lamborghini electrifies its smaller supercar offering.

The Tecnica is a halfway house between the regular everyday cruiser that is the Evo RWD and the absolutely mental, track obsessed STO which looks as loud as it sounds.

The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica borrows the 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine from the STO. The Lamborghini V10 in the Huracan Tecnica produces 631bhp at 8,000rpm and 565Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.

Like the STO and EVO RWD, the power from the Huracan Tecnica's engine is sent to the rear wheels only. The Huracan Tecnica does this with the help of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Lamborghini claims that the Huracan Tecnica sprints from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The rear-wheel drive Italian supercar races from 0-200km/h in 9.1 seconds and sports a claimed top speed of 325km/h. Stamping on the brakes at 100km/h brings the Tecnica to a complete halt in just 31.5 metres.

Compared to the EVO RWD, the Tecnica's aero and chassis setup have been updated to make it more compliant on the track. Lamborghini has also tweaked the Huracan Tecnica's three driving modes - Strada, Sport and Corsa - to work with the updates.

Thoughts: The delivery of the first Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica in India shows the growing appetite of the population for sports and luxury cars. With India's economic story continuing its upward flow, expect Lamborghini to bring their new models to the country a whole lot faster than before.
