Hyundai Teases Alcazar Adventure Edition – Gets New Khaki Green Shade
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has released the teaser of its upcoming Adventure edition of the Hyundai Alcazar SUV. According to the latest teaser, the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar Adventure edition features a new Khaki Green paint scheme.
In addition to the latest shade, the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar Adventure edition features blacked-out elements. Some of the noticeable blacked-out elements include the front grille, logo, alloy wheels, and roof.
Overall, we expect this Khaki Green and Black combination to be quite attractive on both the upcoming Adventure editions of the Alcazar and Creta SUVs. That being said, the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar and Creta Adventure editions are likely to be based on the top-spec variants.
That being said, the upcoming Adventure edition of the Hyundai Alcazar and Creta SUVs are likely to come with cosmetic changes only. This means both models will feature no mechanical changes compared to the standard models.
As such, we expect the Hyundai Creta Adventure SUV to be offered in two engine options - A petrol and a diesel engine. The 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine produces 113bhp and 144Nm of torque, and this engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox.
On the other hand, the 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine in the Creta produces 114bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine also comes with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions. However, the latter is a 6-speed torque convertor unit.
In the Hyundai Alcazar, the petrol powertrain is a more powerful turbocharged version with 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. This engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
We expect the launch of the Hyundai Alcazar and Creta Adventure editions to attract plenty of customers to the Hyundai showrooms across the country. This increased footfall will help Hyundai capitalise on the sales push achieved during the festive season in India.
