2023 SEMA Show: Hyundai Kona Jayde Concept Revealed
South Korean automaker Hyundai, has taken the wraps off the Kona Jayde Concept at the 2023 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The Hyundai Kona Jayde will be showcased at the Thule Booth at SEMA 2023.
Hyundai claims that the Kona Jayde Concept is a one-of-a-kind urban crossover utility vehicle designed to elevate your next adventure with unparalleled style and flair.
The Hyundai Kona Jayde concept flaunts a striking design that seamlessly blends ruggedness with sophistication, making it seem like the ideal choice for urban dwellers seeking a car that can navigate city streets as adeptly as it does off-road terrains.
The Hyundai Kona Jayde concept sports a very distinctive Robin's Egg Blue wrap that is carried over to the matching Vintage Electric Bikes Rally e-bike that hangs off the back of the electric SUV and a Thule Epos bike rack mated to a Hyundai Genuine Accessory hitch. The e-bike comes shod with Michelin Power Gravel tyres.
Unlike the regular Kona electric, the Jayde concept gets a few more aero bits from Air Design which include the likes of the aggressive front lip, unique rocker panels, and sleek rear spoiler. Also seen is a Pulse Alpine roof box from Thule, which adds to the storage levels of the SUV.
Adding to the swagger of the Kona Jayde are its custom one-piece 20-inch alloy wheels from HRE. The custom wheels are shod with aggressive 235/40/ZR20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres. The Hyundai Kona Jayde also sits 2 inches lower to the ground compared to the regular version of the SUV thanks to a set of Eibach lowering springs.
Inside, the Kona Jayde Concept doesn't disappoint either. The concept's cabin offers occupants a spacious environment. The Recaro Sportster CS seats sport a unique plaid pattern and deviated stitching to match the colour scheme of the concept.
The interiors also come with a host of Hyundai Genuine Accessories that add to the functionality of the concept's cabin. These include doorstep plates, a reversible cargo tray, and plush carpeted floor mats.
Also seen are a Scosche PowerUp 32K portable charger and an InVert 200 DC-to-AC adapter to keep all your gadgetry charged up. The concept car retains the regular Kona EV's twin display setup on the dashboard.
