Hyundai Hikes Prices Of Its Cars – Creta, Venue, Alcazar, & More
With the implementation of the new RDE and BS6 Phase 2 emission regulations in India, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has hiked the prices of its cars up to Rs 12,600.
Diving into details, the Hyundai Tucson SUV received the highest price hike of Rs 12,600, whereas the Hyundai Alcazar SUV benefitted from the least price hike of Rs 2,600.

Also, prices for the Hyundai Creta, Venue, and Venue N-Line SUVs have been hiked up to Rs 6,900, whereas prices for the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, i20, i20 N-Line, and Aura have been hiked up to Rs 4,900, Rs 3,500, Rs 4,400, and Rs 2,900, respectively.
That being said, prices for the newly launched 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan continues to remain the same with a starting price of Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base 'EX' variant.

Speaking about the 2023 Hyundai Verna, the newly launched sedan is in its sixth generation and like its predecessors, the latest model comes loaded with all the bells and whistles including a few first-in-segment features.
Some of the noteworthy features on the new Verna include a 10.25-inch infotainment unit, wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity, rear AC vents, a digital instrument cluster, smart boot, an electric sunroof, auto climate control, steering-mounted controls, cooled glove box, tilt-and-telescopic steering and much more.
Hyundai has also stepped up its game in terms of safety with more than 65 safety features. Some of these safety systems include 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX mounting points, automatic headlamps, burglar alarm, impact-sensing auto door unlock, speed-sensing auto door lock, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and Level-2 ADAS.
Thoughts About Hyundai Increasing Prices Of Its Cars
Though Hyundai has hiked the prices of its cars in India, the price hike is not significant to deter interested buyers. As such, we do not expect any dip in sales figures for the South Korean automaker in India.
