Hyundai Creta N Line In The Works – Launch Details Inside
The news of Hyundai developing the N Line variant of the Creta SUV has been resonating for quite some time now. However, it is now alleged that the Hyundai Creta N Line SUV will be launched after the launch of the facelifted version of the SUV.
That being said, we expect the Hyundai Creta facelift to be launched a few months after the launch of the Hyundai Exter micro-SUV. The latter is expected to be launched around the upcoming festive season in India.

In the international markets, Hyundai offers N Line variants in models such as i10, i20, i30, Elantra, Kona, and Tucson. However, in India, the N Line variants are available only on the i20 premium hatchback and Venue SUV.
Coming back to Hyundai Creta N Line, we expect the upcoming N Line variant of the Hyundai Creta to feature similar changes as the Hyundai i20 N Line hatchback. These changes include a sportier front grille with an N Line badge, and contrasting Red treatment on the exterior and interior.

While the South American version of the Hyundai Creta is offered with a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine with 156.90bhp of power and 191Nm of torque, we expect the Indian version of the SUV to be powered by the 1.5-litre, turbo petrol engine that powers the Hyundai Verna.
This new BS6 Phase 2 compliant 1.5-litre, turbocharged petrol engine in the Hyundai Verna produces 157.8bhp of power and 253Nm of torque. Furthermore, this engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

Thoughts About The Upcoming Hyundai Creta N Line
We expect Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) to launch the Hyundai Creta N Line SUV to attract more customers in the country. Furthermore, we expect the upcoming Hyundai Creta N Line to directly compete against Volkswagen Taigun GT and Skoda Kushaq 1.5 TSI.
