Hyundai Aura Facelift Brochure Out – Check Out All New Features & Safety Equipment
Hyundai Motor India has officially revealed the brochure of the facelifted iteration of the new Hyundai Aura sub-4m sedan ahead of its launch in the country.
That being said, we expect the new Hyundai Aura facelift to be launched on Jan 20 along with the new Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS. Additionally, the bookings for the Aura facelift sedan is already open and interested customers can book the updated sedan for Rs 11,000.
Diving into details, the new brochure reveals that the upcoming facelifted version of the Hyundai Aura sedan features numerous updates along with improved features and additional safety equipments. These changes have made the upcoming iteration of the Aura a lot more competitive against its main rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze.
For starters, the new facelifted version of the Hyundai Aura sedan gets a revised front section with a reprofiled front bumper along with other design elements consisting of a new black radiator grille, new LED DRLs, and a pair of darkened headlamps. Other noticeable features on the outside includes a new rear spoiler, chrome-finished door handles and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
On the inside, the new Hyundai Aura sedan gets a new upholstery, leather-wrapped sterling wheel and gear knob, wireless phone charger, fast charging USB-C ports, footwell lighting, a larger 8-inch infotainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition and a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster.
In terms of safety features, the new Hyundai Aura sedan gets ESC, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control, Cruise Control, 6 airbags (optional), ABS, EBD, and much more. Additionally, the newly updated Aura sedan also comes with a 3-year/1,00,000 km warranty.
In terms of powertrain, Hyundai has discontinued the 1.0-litre turbocharged engine. Now, the only options remaining are the 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that puts out 82bhp of power and the 68bhp (CNG), 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated bi-fuel engine that can run on both petrol and CNG. Moreover, the transmission options for the petrol variant include a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
Thoughts About The New Hyundai Aura Facelift
The Hyundai Aura has been a successful sedan for the South Korean automaker in India. However, the outright sales figures are still far from the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. With the new facelift, Hyundai will be looking forward to reduce this gap to a larger extent by offering more features and safety equipment.
