Hyundai Ai3 SUV Teased – Launch Around Festive Season
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has released the first teaser images of its upcoming SUV which is slated to launch later this year. Furthermore, this upcoming SUV from Hyundai is codenamed Ai3.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Hyundai Ai3 SUV should not be confused with the Hyundai Casper SUV that is currently being sold in South Korea. On top of that, the Hyundai Ai3 SUV is built on Hyundai's K1 small car platform.

As a result, the upcoming Hyundai Ai3 SUV will be much larger than the Hyundai Casper SUV and we expect the exterior dimensions of the Ai3 SUV to be somewhat similar to that of a Hyundai Grand i10 Nios hatchback with an overall length of just around 3.8metres.
In addition to that, the upcoming Hyundai Ai3 SUV will feature a completely different styling compared to the Hyundai Casper SUV with a more angular design consisting of full-width lightbars at both front and rear.

That being said, the upcoming Hyundai Ai3 SUV will sport the same 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, petrol engine as the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios hatchback. Moreover, it will be manufactured at HMIL's manufacturing plant in Chennai.
According to sources, HMIL is planning to launch the Ai3 SUV in August. This is a great time to launch a new car as the upcoming festive season will help boost the sales figures for the model.

When launched, the Hyundai Ai3 SUV will compete against the likes of Tata Punch and Citroen C3 models in India. Also, the success of the model will help the South Korean automaker pull a decent lead over Tata Motors in terms of overall sales figures.
Thoughts About The Hyundai Ai3 SUV
With the launch of the Hyundai Ai3 SUV, HMIL will be able to attract more customers to its showrooms and increase its overall sales figures. In addition to that, the success of the Ai3 SUV will help the South Korean automaker keep Tata Motors at bay.
