Facelifted Mercedes-Benz A-Class & A 45 S AMG Launched In India At Rs 45.80 Lakh – New Features & More
Mercedes-Benz India has launched the facelifted versions of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class range in India. The Mercedes-Benz A 200 Limousine facelift is priced at Rs 45.80 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ is priced at Rs 92.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
The facelifted iterations of both the Mercedes-Benz A 200 Limousine and Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ feature numerous changes including exterior styling, feature list, and a few upgrades as well.
Starting with the Mercedes-Benz A 200 Limousine, the facelifted version now gets a redesigned front grille with a new pattern. Speaking of pattern, the graphic pattern on the taillights have also been revised. On top of that, the model now comes with 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels.
On the inside, noticeable changes include, redesigned steering wheel with touch-sensitive buttons, and twin 10.25-inch screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include Car-to-X feature, Mercedes Me app, 'Hey Mercedes' voice assistant, and more.
The Mercedes-Benz A 200 Limousine facelift is powered by a 1.3-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with 161bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox as standard.
The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ on the other hand features similar design changes, however, these design elements are specific to AMG models. On top of that, the updated MBUX system also gets AMG-specific graphics as well.
Powering the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ is a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 415bhp of peak power and 500Nm of torque. The model also features an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive system, thanks to which, the model can reach 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
