Citroen C3 Aircross SUV Reaches Dealerships Across India – Prices Start At Rs 9.99 Lakh
The newly launched Citroen C3 Aircross SUV has started reaching Citroen dealerships across India. Prices for this newly launched SUV start at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the model is available in three trim levels.
Citroen India has high hopes for the C3 Aircross SUV, given the model is the only SUV in its segment to offer 3 rows of seating space. Also, the aggressive pricing ensures the model does not go unnoticed in the highly competitive segment.
Some of its primary rivals include Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. That being said, interested buyers can now book the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.
Speaking about the Citroen C3 Aircross, this new French SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with 108bhp and 190Nm of torque. Furthermore, this engine comes exclusively mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
However, we expect Citroen to introduce a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox to this powertrain sooner or later. Moreover, this 6-speed automatic gearbox has been in development for quite some time now.
Coming to the trim levels, the three trim levels on offer include You, Plus, and Max. Out of these trims, 'You' is the base variant, whereas the 'Max' is the top-spec offering. It is also worth mentioning that 7-seat configuration is only available with the top two variants (Plus, and Max).
In terms of features, the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV comes equipped with features such as a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment, reversing camera, rear wiper, rear defogger, USB charging points, roof-mounted AC vents, fully digital driver's display and more.
Standard safety features on the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rear sensors, and a lot more.
Though Citroen is offering a 7-seat configuration with the C3 Aircross, this configuration demands an additional Rs 35,000 over the standard 5-seater configuration. Also, the dual-tone paint and vibe pack are exclusive for the Plus and Max trims and are priced at Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively.

At Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Citroen C3 Aircross SUV is very attractively priced to grab the attention of potential buyers in the country. However, the base model turns out to be too spartan for Urban buyers.
