BMW X4 M40i Launched In India At Rs 96.20 Lakh
BMW launched the first-ever X4 M40i in India at Rs 96.20 lakh (ex-showroom). This model is brought to India as a Completely Built-Up unit.
Coming to the design, the new BMW X4 M40i is definitely a head-turner with its coupe-like silhouette. Interesting design details include a gloss black kidney grille with a chrome frame, free-form tailpipes, gloss red brake calipers, and Jet Black 20-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the BMW X4 M40i also reflects its sporty exterior theme with interior trim finished in Carbon Fibre. The model also comes equipped with sporty seats, M seatbelts, and a few other sporty design elements.
Coming to the feature list, the new BMW X4 M40i comes generously equipped with features such as a large 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with 3D navigation, a similar-sized infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heads-up display, gesture control, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and more.
Other features of the BMW X4 M40i include a large panoramic sunroof, parking assistance, 360-degree surround-view camera, reversing assistant, auto start/stop, multiple drive modes, carpet lighting, ambient lighting, adaptive suspension, variable sport steering, powered tailgate, adaptive LED headlights, and paddle shifters.

Powering the BMW X4 M40i is a 3.0-litre, Inline 6, turbocharged petrol engine. This engine is tuned to produce 352.7bhp and 500Nm of peak torque. Also, this power and torque is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Thanks to this sophisticated powertrain setup, the BMW X4 M40i can sprint to 100km/h from a standstill in just 4.9 seconds. Furthermore, the model can reach a top speed of 250km/h. It is also worth mentioning that this powertrain features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to improve efficiency.
