The BMW 740i M Sport is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine that produces 376bhp and 520Nm of peak torque all of which is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The BMW 740i M Sport accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.

The BMW i7 xDrive60, on the other hand, draws power from a 101.7kWh battery pack that drives two motors. The i7 xDrive60's electric motors produce 536bhp and 740Nm of torque which drives all four wheels via a single-speed gearbox. The BMW i7 xDrive60 sprints from 0-100km/h in 4.7 seconds and is electronically limited to 240km/h.

The BMW i7 xDrive60's battery pack delivers a range of 625km on the WLTP cycle. The 101.7kWh battery pack supports fast charging up to 195kW DC which can top up the charge from 10 to 80 per cent in just 34 minutes. The BMW i7 comes with a complimentary wall box charger that when installed can charge the battery pack from empty to full in about 5 hours at 22kW AC speeds.

Both the BMW 7 Series and the i7 sport similar designs with the split BMW crystal glow LED headlamps flanking either side of the massive kidney grilles. The two limos ride on some rather large alloy wheels and also feature LED taillights with the i7 ditching its dino-burning sibling's tailpipes at the rear.

Step inside the 7 Series and i7 and you'll be greeted by the single pane of curved glass that plays host to the 12.3-inch driver's display and the 14.9-inch infotainment display. However, both are dwarfed by a 31.3-inch 8k display with built-in Amazon Fire TV that folds out from the roof to keep the important honchos at the rear entertained. Also seen are two 5.5-inch displays on the rear doors that control the sound levels from Bowers & Wilkins sound system along with seat adjustment, climate control, and ambient lighting settings.
