Auto Expo 2023: Top 5 Cars – Jimny, Fronx & More
Auto Expo 2023 turned out to be an immensely successful event with a record-breaking 6.36 lakh visitors. As such, here are the top 5 cars displayed at the Auto Expo 2023.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is one of the most awaited SUVs in India and the Indo-Japanese automaker made full use of the exposure at the Auto Expo 2023 by unveiling the new Jimny SUV at the event alongside the Baleno-based Fronx SUV. Apart from that, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny attracted a lot of crowd once the event was opened to the public.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is a Baleno-based sub-4m SUV that was unveiled alongside the Maruti Suzuki Jimny at the Auto Expo 2023. Much like the Jimny, the Fronx will also be sold exclusively through Nexa range of dealerships. That being said, the designers at Maruti Suzuki have done a commendable job as the Maruti Suzuki Fronx reminds very little of the Baleno hatchback.
Hyundai Ioniq 5
Hyundai stole the show during the second day of the Auto Expo 2023 by launching the Ioniq 5 electric crossover in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from that, the South Korean automaker nailed the pricing of the Ioniq 5 with an introductory price of Rs 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Kia KA4
Kia showcased the KA4 premium MPV at the Auto Expo 2023. In fact, the upcoming fourth-generation Carnival MPV that is set to replace the outgoing iteration of the Carnival MPV in India. Additionally, the Kia KA4 incorporates the South Korean automaker's latest design philosophy along with a long list of new features and a completely revamped interior.
Hyundai Ioniq 6
Hyundai also showcased the Ioniq 6 electric sedan at the Auto Expo 2023 and this mid-size electric sedan managed to attract a lot of attention from the media. It is also worth mentioning that the Hyundai Ioniq 6 electric sedan looks pretty unique thanks to its aerodynamically efficient design. In fact, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is one of the most aerodynamic production cars in the planet with an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.21cd.

While the Auto Expo 2023 turned out to be a very successful event with more than 6.36 lakh visitors, these above-listed cars managed to attract a majority of that crowd. That being said, Hyundai has already launched the Ioniq 5 at the event itself, whereas Maruti Suzuki will very soon launch Jimny and Fronx SUVs in India.
