The Safari Red Dark Edition brings the same changes seen on the Harrier special edition with the same name and is expected to sit atop the Safari range when it goes on sale in the very near future.
2023 Auto Expo: Tata Safari Red Dark Edition Styling & Features
The Tata Safari Red Dark Edition does not change the looks of the SUV in any way but instead slaps an Oberon Black paint job onto the 7-seater. The grille features Zircron red contrast inserts and the same colour can be seen on the brake callipers. The wheels are 18-inch units finished in Blackstone and the front and rear skid plates sport a Daytona Grey paint job.
Step inside the harrier Red Dark Edition and you'll find leatherette seats with diamond quilting finished in Carnelian Red. This same colour can be found on the grab handles on the centre console and doors. The dash is finished in steel black and the steering wheel, console and doors sports piano black accents.
The new Safari Red Dark Edition from Tata Motors gets quite a bit of tech added to its standard kit list including a 10.25-inch infotainment display with iRA connected car tech that is paired with a 9-speaker and amplifier audio setup from JBL.
Other features on the Tata Safari Red Dark Edition include Ventilated captain seats for the first two rows with the driver's seat getting 6-way power adjustment along with memory and welcome functions. The front passenger seat is also powered and comes with the Boss mode function that pushes it forward to increase leg room for the person sitting behind. The sunroof also gets mood lighting.
The Safari also comes packed with 10 ADAS features that include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Change Alert (LCA) among others. The Safari Red Dark Edition also gets 6 airbags, and an enhanced ESP with 17 functions.

The Tata Safari Red Dark Edition remains unchanged mechanically compared to every other Safari variant currently on sale today. The Tata Safari Dark Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
