Tata Motors has revealed the Red Dark Edition of the Harrier SUV at Auto Expo 2023. The Red Dark Edition gets a black paint job, red seats, ADAS and a bit more tech.
The Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition is expected to sit atop the Harrier range when it arrives in the very near future. We expect the new Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition to command a premium of around Rs 50 to 70k over the top-spec manual and automatic variants of the Harrier.

So what exactly does the Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition bring to the table in terms of cosmetic changes? The Red Dark Edition features an Oberon Black paint job with 18-inch Blackstone alloy wheels, Zircon red Calipers on the front and rear discs, Zircon Red inserts in the front grille, Satin Daytona Grey front and rear skid plates and the #Dark logo in red on the fenders of the SUV.
Inside, the Harrier Red Edition gets Carnelian Red interior theme, leatherette seats with diamond quilting, leatherette grab handles on the doors and central console, steel black dash and piano black accents on the steering wheel, console and doors.

The front seats are ventilated units with the Driver's seat being a powered unit with 6-way power adjustment. Other upgrades include a 10.25-inch infotainment display by Harman connected to a 9-speaker JBL system, a 7-inch driver's display, a wireless phone charger, USB C-type charging ports, a 360-degree camera and the iRA-connected car suite.
However, the biggest change on the new Harrier Red Dark Edition comes in the form of 10 Level 2 ADAS features including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward & Rear Collision Warning, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and High Beam Assist.

Mechanically, the Harrier Red Dark Edition is the same as its less-equipped siblings. The special edition SUV draws power from the same 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 167.6bhp and 350Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
Thoughts About The Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition Unveiled At Auto Expo 2023
The Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition may look like the emperor's new clothes from the outside but the amount of kit it adds should be worth the extra moolah that Tata charges for it.
