Tata Motors has revealed the internal combustion version of the Curvv concept at Auto Expo 2023. The ICE version of the Tata Curvv showcased at Auto Expo looks closer to being production ready and was shown off in a stunning shade of red.
The internal combustion version of the Curvv is expected to go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta when it goes on sale sometime in the next 24 months.

The Tata Curvv showcased at Auto Expo 2023 looks slightly different from the one that showed up last year in the form of an electric vehicle concept.
The updated Curvv Concept from Auto Expo 2023 sports an updated version of the split headlight design with the actual headlamps looking more production-ready than ever before. However, the Curvv concept from Tata Motors does retain the full-width LED DRLs.
The Tata Curvv Concept retains its sloping coupe roof design that gives it such a unique look. If this design highlight makes it to production, the Curvv will be a rather unique offering in the B-segment of SUVs.
2023 Auto Expo: Tata Curvv Powertrains
Tata Motors has not revealed any details about the powertrain options that will be offered with the Curvv SUV when it enters production. However, since the Curvv is based on Tata's Gen 2 platform we can expect it to offer a range between 400 and 500 kilometres on a single charge as per the plans revealed by the Mumbai firm.
Tata has also remained mum on the engine that was under the bonnet of Curvv showcased at Auto Expo 2023. Tata is currently said to be working on a new turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine and we expect this to make its way under the bonnet of the production-spec Curvv when it arrives sometime in the next 24 months.
