The all-new Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door will first be available in India before it is shipped out to the world. The all-new Jimny is offered in two basic trim levels - Zeta and Alpha with both being offered with manual and automatic gearboxes. The SUV is offered in 6 baic colour options including the famous Kinetic Yellow.

The new Maruti Suzuki Jimny is powered by the firm's tried and tested K15B petrol engine which features idle start-stop technology. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine produces 103.3bhp at 6,000rpm and 134.2Nm of peak torque at 4,000Nm of peak torque.
The K15B engine is offered with two transmission options - a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic. The Jimny sends power to all four wheels via Suzuki's legendary All Grip Pro four-wheel-drive system and the SUV also features a low-range transfer case to help it go almost everywhere.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is 3,985mm long (with the spare tyre), 1,645mm wide, 1,720mm tall and features a 2,590mm long wheelbase. The wheelbase of the 5-door Jimny is 390mm longer than its 3-door sibling. The new Jimny continues to offer 210mm of ground clearance and 208 litres of boot space.
The new Jimny continues to feature a ladder frame chassis and the SUV sports a 3-link Rigid Axle type suspension with coil springs on all four corners. The New Jimny rides on 15-inch wheels shod with 195/80 R15 tyres. The Jimny sports a 36-degree approach angle, a 50-degree departure angle and a ramp break-over angle of 24 degrees.

The new Maruti Suzuki Jimny's design remains mostly unchanged from its 3-door sibling with the major change being the addition of an extra door on each side of the SUV.
The cabin is as retro as ever with its old-school dials and round air vents on the edges of the dashboard. The big change inside the cabin can be found in the centre of the dash where a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display sits for all your modern needs.
The Jimny also comes packed with safety tech including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Descent Control, Hill Hold Assist, ESP, Brakes Assist, Rear view camera and ISOFIX child seat mounting anchorages.
