Audi Q8 e-tron Launched In India At Rs 1.137 Crore: 600km Range
Audi Q8 e-tron launched in India. Prices for the Audi Q8 e-tron in India start at Rs 1.137 crore (ex-showroom). The Audi Q8 e-tron is offered in both SUV and Sportback guises.
The Audi Q8 e-tron is offered in two trim levels - 50 & 55. The Q8 e-tron is offered with either a 95kWh or a 114kWh battery pack with the latter offering a range of 600kms on a single charge as per the WLTP cycle.
The max charging speed offered by the new Q8 e-tron is 170kW on a DC fast charger which allows for 10 to 80 per cent charge in 31 minutes. The luxury SUV also comes with a 22kW AC charger which allows for a full charge in six hours.
The large battery pack powers a dual motor setup in the 55 variant that produces 402bhp and 664Nm of peak torque which is sent to all four wheels. The 0-100km/h sprint is taken care of in around 5.6 seconds while the top speed is limited to 200km/h.
The 2023 Q8 e-tron lineup is an updated version of the Audi e-tron SUV & Sportback and this shows in its design. The new EVs ditch the traditional Audi grille for a mixture of black plastic and a mesh grille setup with a monochrome 2D effect badge and lights connecting it to the LED headlights.
The front bumper has been tweaked as well and sports larger intakes at its sides. The Audi Q8 e-tron SUV and Sportback ride on 20-inch alloy wheels and sport a blacked-out B-pillar with Audi and Q8 e-tron lettering. The rear bumper too has been tweaked and the addition of the Q8 on the nameplate is the other big change.
The Audi Q8 e-Tron's interior is a familiar sight with the triple display. The first is the Audi Virtual Cockpit behind the steering wheel while the other two include the 10.1-inch infotainment unit and the smaller 8.6-inch unit that controls quite a few functions including the multi-zone HVAC system.
The Q8 e-tron's interior is offered in three shades - Okapi Brown, Pearl Beige, and Black. The exterior on the other hand comes in nine colour options - Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Soneira Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Beige, and Manhattan Grey.
