700 Units Of BYD Atto 3 Electric SUVs Delivered In India – Strong Growth Continues
BYD recently commenced the deliveries of the Atto 3 electric SUV in India and the Chinese automaker has already delivered more than 700 units of Atto 3 electric SUVs in the country.
Furthermore, BYD claims that it had sold more than 2.52 lakh units of the Atto 3 electric SUV in just 11 months across various countries. On top of that, BYD also claimed that it had sold 23,231 units of Atto 3 electric SUVs globally in the month of January 2023.
Speaking about the BYD Atto 3, the electric SUV is priced at Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and the model is available in 4 exterior shades - Boulder Grey, Parkour Red, Ski White, and Surf Blue.
There is also a special edition of the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV priced at Rs 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and this model comes with an exclusive Forest Green exterior shade.
In terms of powertrain, the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV comes with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with 201bhp of peak power and 310Nm of peak torque. In addition to that, the Atto 3 electric SUV sports a large 60.48kWh battery pack with patented Blade-battery technology.
Thanks to this powertrain setup, BYD claims that the Atto 3 electric SUV can sprint to 100km/h from a standstill in just 7.3 seconds and is capable of covering 521 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack.
Though the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV sports a large battery pack, the charging time is relatively short as the battery pack can be charged to 80 per cent of its capacity in just 50 minutes using a suitable DC fast charger.

With more than 700 Atto 3 electric SUVs on the road, BYD has made a statement with its latest electric SUV. Moreover, BYD is currently aiming to set up 53 dealerships across the country by the end of this year to further increase its footprint and improve sales volume.
