Suzuki has unveiled its latest Swift hatchback model in its home territory of Japan. The company has proclaimed that the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) variants will hit the market on December 13, 2023, followed by the manual transmission trims on January 14, 2024.

Revamped Design & Exterior Features

The latest Swift iteration is a refined version of its predecessor, boasting a chic grille, redeveloped LED headlights with L-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), C-shaped LED tail lamps, a clamp-shell hood, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The 2024 Swift model comes in a spectrum of 13 exterior shades, including nine single-tone and four dual-tone options. The single-tone range offers Frontier Blue, Cool Yellow, Flame Orange, Caravan Ivory, Pure White, Premium Silver, Star Silver, and Super Black, while the dual-tone combinations include Frontier Blue, Burning Red, Cool Yellow and Pure White.

Upgraded Interior & Safety Features

On the inside, the new Suzuki Swift sports a floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, start-stop button, a 360-degree camera, and an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The next-generation Swift in Japan is available in three variants: XG, Hybrid MX, and Hybrid MZ. Two powertrain options are available - a 1.2-litre petrol 3-cylinder engine and a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine.
