2024 Porsche Panamera Launched In India - Priced At Rs 1.68 Crore
German sportscar manufacturer Porsche has launched the new 2024 Panamera in India. The 2024 Porsche Panamera is priced at Rs 1.68 crore (ex-showroom).
Bookings for the 2024 Porsche Panamera are expected to start very soon with deliveries expected to start in the first half of 2024. Deliveries of the Panamera in its home nation of Germany will commence in March 2024.
Out of the three versions of the third-generation Panamera revealed by Porsche last week, the one that has had its price revealed for the Indian market is the rear-wheel drive version of the Panamera V6. The third-gen Panamera is around Rs 10 lakh more expensive than its predecessor.
The base rear-wheel-drive version of the four-door performance sedan is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 engine that pushes out 349bhp and 500Nm, an increase of 23bhp and 50Nm over its predecessor.
The Panamera Rear Wheel Drive variant's engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic gearbox that powers the rear axle. The rear-wheel drive third gen Panamera V6 sprints from 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds and can hit a top speed of 272km/h.
In terms of its looks, the third-gen Panamera is a case of evolution rather than revolution. The redone headlights sport a new signature and Matrix LED tech. The revised front bumper sports wider inlets while the rear bumper has also been redone. The new Panamera also sports a brand-new lightbar-style taillight.
Inside the Panamera is more luxurious than ever and sports a new dash with three displays stretching across it. Behind the steering wheel sits the all-digital driver's display, at the centre is the 12.3-inch infotainment panel while the optional front passenger's display stretches 10.9 inches across the diagonal.
Standard kit on the India-bound Panamera includes 8-way adjustable electric seats, Matrix LED headlights, six airbags, and a full-HD 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless phone connectivity options for both Android and Apple phones.

The 2024 Porsche Panamera brings with it a host of changes including updated powertrains. While the V6 model for India has come to India with quite a big update, there is still no news if we'll get the maddest Turbo E-Hybrid variant which is the really interesting version of the new Panamera considering the Sport Turismo estate has been phased out.
