2023 Toyota Innova Crysta More Expensive Than Innova Hycross – Price List Leaked
Toyota recently reopened bookings for the Innova Crysta in India. Now, ahead of its official launch in the country, prices of the updated 2023 Innova Crysta MPV has been leaked online.
Diving into details, the GX trim level of the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta starts from Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for both 7-seater and 8-seater variants of the MPV. Furthermore, these variants finished in Pearl White shade demand an additional Rs 9,500.
This makes the GX variant of the 2023 Innova Crysta more expensive than the Innova Hycross GX, which apparently costs Rs 59,000 less at Rs 19.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India). In addition to that, interested customers can now book the 2023 Innova Crysta for Rs 50,000.
For 2023. Toyota has updated the 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged, diesel engine to meet the upcoming BS6 Phase 2 and RDE emission regulations. It is also worth mentioning that the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta comes exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
That being said, we expect the power and torque output figures of the updated powertrain to remain similar to the previous model. However, unlike the previous model, the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta will feature two drive modes - Eco and Power.
Also, the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta MPV will be made available in four variants - G, GX, VX, and ZX. Out of this, the top-spec variant of the 2023 Innova Crysta will be equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Other noticeable features on the top-spec variant of the 2023 Innova Crysta include a TFT MID screen, Smart Entry, an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, ambient lighting, one-touch tumble second-row seats, rear auto AC and much more.
On top of that, Toyota is also offering enhanced safety features in the new Innova Crysta which includes safety systems such as 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist (BA), 3-point seatbelts, front and rear parking sensors, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist and a few more.
Thoughts About The 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta
Toyota very well understands the demand for the diesel-powered Innova Crysta MPV in the Indian market. As such, the higher price tag demanded by the Innova Crysta over the Innova Hycross will not be a deal-breaker for the majority of Innova Crysta buyers in the country.
