2023 Tata Safari Facelift Launched At Rs. 16.19 Lakh - 7-Seater Gets Refreshed & Even More Premium
2023 Tata Safari facelift launched in India. Introductory prices for the new 2023 Tata Safari facelift start at Rs. 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Safari Facelift is offered in a broad range of trim levels - Smart, Pure, Pure+ Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+. Also on offer are Dark versions for the Pure+, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+ variants which are also offered with automatic transmissions.
The manual versions of the new Safari facelift start at Rs 16.19 lakh for the Pure variant and go all the way to Rs 25.49 lakh for the fully loaded Accomplished+ personality. Dark and automatic variants start at Rs 20.69 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
The updates to the 2023 Tata Safari facelift include a host of design upgrades. These include new front and rear bumpers, split headlights with a connected DRL setup up top and LED headlamps and fog lamps in their own enclosures. The DRLs sit above the new parametric split grille and silver bash plates.
The rear features new connected LED taillights underneath which sits the Tata badge. Adding to the allure are 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with aero inserts (lower spec models get 17 or 18-inch wheels).
Inside the cabin, the new Safari Facelift introduces an array of high-tech features. The centrepiece is a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Other features include touch-based controls for the dual-zone climate control system, a fully digital instrument cluster with navigation, an illuminated Tata logo on the new four-spoke steering wheel and a wireless phone charger along with a 45W USB C port.
The Safari Facelift also offers ventilated and powered front seats, rear-door sun shades, a large panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate and ambient mood lighting.
The 2023 Safari facelift also sports Tata's Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, a 360-degree surround camera, and the firm's second-gen iRA-connected car tech. The Safari like the Harrier scored a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.
Powering the 2023 Tata Safari facelift is the Stellantis-sourced 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, paired with either a six-speed manual or an automatic torque converter unit. The Safari's engine continues to deliver 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. The automatic versions of the Safari are also equipped with paddle shifters.
